.Working cameras with matt

 Cameras with Matt.

The first thing Matt taught us yesterday was how to set up a tripod unlock the legs and extend them etc

and how to ‘bubble it’ which means to get the counter weight perfectly balanced with the air bubble

meaning the camera gyro will be flat when filming. The next thing he taught us was what the different

clamps and bolts on the gyro and how they would effect the camera and makes it move in certain ways.

He then showed us using one of our cameras breifly and vaigly (on purpose of course) to see if we could

work out how to take off the camera lense cap which was just a pinch twist action and to open up the

camera box and turn it on. He then contained to show us how to clamp the camera onto the gyro which

was easier then it looked as it was just a simple button clamp. He then showed us how to attach the v

shaped clamp battery.

After this he taught us the zoom and scope on the lense which was currently on the camera, he then

showed us how to change the contrast of the light and showed us the dredded button to adjust so which

was sharp misshaped and placed over the top of the lense release. We then learnt about how to focus your

shot (did this by zooming all the way then focusing in on something making it clear then zooming out to

your shot size.after we learnt about the white light adjustment he changed the lenses for a more expenisve

less versatile lenses used more frequently as it makes it clearer for a certain zoom range 50 - 125.

After this we had had a go on the lenses then showed us the process to get a clear shot then told us that

when you leave a camera set up lock up the vertical but not sideways tilt so if it is hit is shall shift.

Then the most important part we were told to put away all the equipment which we did then that was the

end of the session.
