.History of opening title sequences.


The first title sequences appeared in 1897 when Thomas Edison put a credit at the start of one 

of his films to prevent piracy. graphic designer Saul Bass was struck by the spiraling images in a 

book about the 19th-century French mathematician Jules-Antoine Lissajous.


Here is a few examples of major companies as you can see in the top photo Warner Bros has changed from a black no white logo to a golden blue coloured one as pictures has got better and more colourful over time.
